Reply of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Relevant Issues concerning Audio-visual Products Involved in the Handling of Criminal Cases of Infringing upon Copyrights
Judicial reply promulgated by SPC and SPP on 18 October 2005 and taking effect on 18 October 2005, providing guidance for the application of the Criminal Law in the case of duplicating and distributing audiovisual works without the permission of the producers and disseminating the audiovisual works to the public without the permission of their producers.
The Reply of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Relevant Issues concerning Audio- visual Products Involved in the Handling of Criminal Cases of Infringing upon Copyrights, which was adopted at the 1365th meeting of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court on September 26th, 2005, and 39th meeting of the 10th Procuratorial Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on September 23rd, 2005, is hereby promulgated, and shall come into force as of October 18th, 2005.
